Change of Purpose and Use of Collected Charitable Donations

Dear friends and partners,
From June 1, 2023, to March 20, 2025, the Charitable Organization "Charitable Foundation 'International Fund for Medical Innovations'" raised charitable donations totaling 1,743,461.64 UAH for the following purpose: the purchase of the first digital scanner in Ukraine designed for scanning, storing, and processing histological samples and implementing new technology within the project "THE FIRST SCANNER IN UKRAINE!"
We sincerely appreciate everyone who contributed to this fundraising initiative. Together with you, we aimed to introduce advanced digital pathology technologies to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment in Ukraine.
Unfortunately, the required amount of 7,500,000.00 UAH needed for the project was not collected, and the funds cannot be used for their original purpose.
In light of this, the Charitable Foundation has decided to change the purpose and allocation of the collected donations. The raised funds will now be fully directed to another program of the Charitable Foundation—"Prevention and Early Diagnosis."
According to Part 5, Article 6 of the Law of Ukraine "On Charitable Activities and Charitable Organizations," changes to the purpose and use of charitable donations are possible with the donor’s or their successor’s consent, as well as by court decision or in other cases defined by law or the donor's transaction.
Therefore, this notice serves as an official statement regarding the change in purpose of the collected donations under the project "THE FIRST SCANNER IN UKRAINE!" from June 1, 2023, to March 20, 2025, in the amount of 1,743,461.64 UAH due to the inability to raise the full sum required for the initial goal. These funds will now be redirected to the "Prevention and Early Diagnosis" program, which aligns with the foundation’s mission and the current healthcare needs in Ukraine.
All donors who contributed within the specified period have the right to request a full refund.

Refund requests will be accepted within 30 calendar days from the date this announcement is published on the foundation’s website. If no request is submitted within this period, the donor’s consent to the change in the intended use of the donation will be considered granted.
