The «OncoProsvita» project

In Ukraine, every fifth patient learns about their cancer diagnosis at the last stage. One in four patients does not survive a year after diagnosis....

At the same time, from 30% to 50% of cancer cases can be avoided by leading a healthy lifestyle, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). 

That is why the winner of the grant program from our Foundation, the NGO Center for Effective Solutions, launched the «OncoProsvita» project.

«OncoProsvita» is an educational initiative created to reduce cancer mortality by raising public awareness of cancer prevention, diagnosis, and the latest cancer treatment methods.

Together with leading oncologists in Ukraine, the project team has created more than 20 informative videos and animations to help overcome societal barriers to cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

The videos may be of interest not only to patients with cancer and their relatives, but also to a wide range of Ukrainians who care about their health.
