One of the key areas of IMIF's activities is to improve the level of disease prevention, as it is better to prevent than to treat diseases. We support hospitals in implementing modern technologies that help to identify disease risks at early stages and contribute to preserving health and improving the quality of life.
Why is it important?
Cardiovascular diseases remain the leading cause of death in the world. However, a significant number of these diseases can be prevented by changing your lifestyle: by maintaining a balanced diet, engaging in regular physical activity, giving up bad habits, and undergoing regular preventive examinations.
According to the WHO, 50% of cancer cases can be avoided through prevention. And early diagnosis significantly increases the chances of successful treatment.
IMIF is actively looking for opportunities to introduce innovations in the field of preventive measures and supports medical professionals in initiatives aimed at preserving public health. We believe that the future of medicine is not only effective treatment, but also timely prevention of diseases.
What are we already doing in this direction?
Educational initiatives. We support programs aimed at raising public awareness of risk factors and ways to prevent diseases.
Promoting a healthy lifestyle. We organize events to talk about the importance of prevention, balanced nutrition, physical activity and timely medical care.
Innovative technologies. We support the implementation of modern solutions for early diagnosis and effective prevention of diseases.
Prevention is an investment in a healthy future.
