Care and medical and psychological assistance during the war is one of the important areas of work of our charitable foundation. Conditions of war, constant uncertainty and tension affect the psycho-emotional state and take away from children that part of life that should be filled with childhood, creativity, joy, curiosity to learn new things and explore the world.
My partner, Phonak, and I decided to add positive communication, interesting interaction to the lives of hearing-impaired children, the opportunity to improve their emotional state through art therapy materials and learn to create a colorful future again. At the beginning of autumn, together with the Hearing Center, they began to implement the art therapy project "Happy prostir".
The "Happy Prostir" project is an art therapy class that helps children and parents stabilize their emotional state, the exercises during the class help reduce body tension, working with color and art therapy materials allows you to manifest different forms of emotions and transform them. Art therapy classes are one of the safest methodologies for trauma and PTSD prevention.
Every Tuesday, together with an art therapist, one of the offices of the Hearing Center is transformed into a magical safe space, where the child and mother can express and explore their emotional state through art materials, create new warm moments together with the child, and be filled with a resource of creativity.
If you want to support the "Happy prostir" project for implementation in other hospitals, you can donate here: https://bit.ly/3SQVEtU
