Cardiac pacemakers for Ukrainian hearts

Heart rhythm disorder (arrhythmia) is one of the most common pathological conditions of the cardiovascular system. In conditions of war the quantity of such diseases increases, because each of us is under the action of constant informational, emotional, physiological and post-traumatic stress and it can't help but affect health.

Heart diseases associated with rhythm disturbances are difficult to treat. That is why implanting a pacemaker is the most common treatment for such patients. This device is called an artificial pacemaker, because it is designed to change the heart rhythm.

The International Medical Innovation Foundation decided to help Ukrainians support the health of their hearts and donated pacemakers from Medtronic Corp. to hospitals in Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Chernigiv, Sumy, etc.
